Meet Barbara Bernal, Owner + Lead Planner at Joined By Love
Hi there! As the owner and lead planner at Joined By Love, I treasure the opportunity to nurture and embrace each couple I serve as if they were my own. In my nine years of experience in the wedding industry, I’ve experienced multiple vantage points of what it takes to support a couple on their big day. While I got my start in the industry as a wedding cake baker, my career has evolved and, thankfully, includes fewer flour messes today! Today, I’m blessed to manage a team of associates, who assist me and our couples in day-of coordination and partial and full-service planning. What remains unchanged, however, is my dedication to the couples I serve.
I’m known for my motherly-level of protection and advocacy on behalf of my couples and their wedding day vision, and I come by it honestly, as a mother and grandmother myself. When my own son was married, I missed so many of the important moments because I was pulled in every direction, fielding questions and problem-solving, that I vowed that no parent will ever have to watch those moments on a video or in photos, but would actually get to witness firsthand the cake cutting, toasts, and first dances!

Patience’s name says it all - as the newest Lead Coordinator for Joined By Love Wedding Planning, Patience’s organization skills and drive to serve our clients well makes her an asset to our team, and to yours! She got her start in the wedding industry by working in her grandmother’s floral shop.
Macarena (Pictured at Left Center)
Macarena is detail-oriented, which helps her excel in running the wedding day timeline for our Joined By Love couples. When she’s not spending time with our couples, she enjoys time with her spouse and their two beautiful boys!
Tina (Pictured at Right Center)
As Barbara’s Lead Assistant and the Team Lead for the Joined By Love Wait Staff, Tina plays an essential role in organizing and delegating tasks to the Joined By Love team on a couple’s big day. She’s attentive to the details of the wedding day and assists the team in meaningful ways. Tina loves spending time with her spouse and four children.
Sarah (Pictured at Right)
Sarah has been coordinating weddings for the past 12 years. She has a background in floral design, which helps her execute beautiful and smooth wedding days for our Joined By Love couples. When she’s not sharing her talents with our couples, she enjoys time with her spouse and three children.
